For the Main Applicant:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a clean criminal record and be in good health.

  • Must not hold citizenship of an EU country.
  • Minimum residency requirement after obtaining the Golden Visa is 15 days, with a requirement to stay in Portugal for 7 days in the first year to maintain residency status.

For Dependents:

  • Must have a clean criminal record with no criminal history.
  • No age limit for unmarried children who are financially dependent on the main applicant (including adopted children).
  • Parents of the main applicant and spouse can be included in the application (if parents are under 65 years old, financial dependence on the main applicant must be proven).
